ABBA, IMA; ABBA, AVA...
On Writing #17, from the WGA, has the complete text of "Yma Dream," as well as an occasionally enlightening interview with Thomas Meehan and Mel Brooks.
The New York Times TV Section has a much more enlightening interview with Amy Sherman-Palladino, who turns out to be a curly haired Jewish girl who never went to college. So what is she doing writing about rich WASPs in Connecticut? Ah, well, read the article.

I love interviews with Amy Sherman-Palladino, although they're even better when they're done on TV because it comes across that she talks just as fast as her characters do.
I'm kinda happy to learn she didn't go to college; I did, but I didn't get a degree in film or anything related (well, English is semi-related, sorta) and people kept telling me I'd never write for TV without a similar degree.
