NUMBAHS, BABY

I hear that the overnight numbers for Charlie Jade were quite high. As in, better than the screening of Lord of the Rings on the same channel, Space, and comparable to Battlestar Galactica.

That bodes well for (a) a US sale, you poor benighted Southerners, and (b) a second season.

Sweet. Cannot wait. :) So long as Sci-Fi Channel doesn't furbar it like it did with the new Dr. Who I'll be happy.

What's "furbar"? I know what "fubar" is but this one's a new one.

I'm very glad to hear that Charlie Jade is doing so well in the ratings. I'd been looking forward to seeing the two-hour pilot for many months, and was not disappointed. This new SF series is intelligent, gritty and well-executed by some of North Americas best writers/producers.
