I hear rumors from two reliable sources (DMc and Lisa) that West Wing has recovered. It's writing to its template again -- stories that could only happen on West Wing, as opposed to stories that could and have happened on every John Wells-helmed show ever written.
Well I guess I'll have to start watching again.
This past week's episode made me down right nostalgiac for first season "West Wing". It was devoted to a political maneuver and the machinations involved in making it happen that was the sort of thing that made me fall in love with the show in the first place. An entire episode devoted to trying to run the country, with a great subplot where Toby is taught a political lesson by children, and not tons of personal soap opera stuff. Very reminiscent of early seasons.
