For research on an pitch I'm working on, I've got a hankering to check out the cancelled NBC show
The Book of Daniel, or at least, read the spec pilot that started it all. But alas my
intrepid assistant was not able to find any live torrents or downloadable scripts, and I really don't want to shell out a couple hundred bucks to buy a DVD on Ebay.
Anyone out there got a script or an ep I can check out?

This is one of the later, unaired episodes, but if you can't find the pilot, maybe it will do.
You can open Windows Media Player, then go to File - Open URL, and paste in: mms://a463.v221816.c22181.g.vm.akamaistream.net/7/463/22181/v0001/nbcwplus.download.akamai.com/20773/bookofdaniel/bookofdaniel_105.wmv
(or just click on the link and it will ask you if you want to launch the player.)
It might be the same episode that's on NBC's website http://www.nbc.com/The_Book_of_Daniel - it was taken from there, but I'm not sure how long ago - but it won't play for me from the NBC site. Maybe it only works in the US.
NBC's Web site was hosting all eight episodes of the show for a time.
That may be over now, though.
The series is currently running on ITV4 in the U.K.
