Looks like I'm going to be doing a screenwriting panel at the Silver Wave festival in Fredericton, New Brunswick, on the 10th, in the morning, with my dear friend Jamie Gaetz.
So, what should I be sure not to miss in Fredericton?

It's been years since I've been there, but the Beaverbrook Art Gallery is better than many big-city galleries. Kind of surprising to see Dali and other artists I actually recognize in such a small city.
Hi Alex,
I'll see you there - I'm one of the organizers of the festival.
Beaverbrook Gallery is gorgeous. It's in the middle of a big art dispute, so while I hope dearly that the works will stay, better see them now - just in case.
Other things in a small town: The walking bridge over the Saint John River, The Cabin (super small old-style restaurant - good comfort food), if you are in to politics there's the NB Legislature and also city hall. The downtown is pretty and you can walk the length of it. If you stay till Saturday, the farmers market has great samosas, sausages, poppy-seeded sweet potatoes and donairs, and is just a street over from where you'll be speaking.
Hope you have a fun time in Freddy Beach. See you on the 10th.
:)
