If I've been quieter than normal these past few days, that's because I've been breaking story on the next episode of the series I'm developing for The Movie Network and Movie Central, THE FALLEN. I'm not sure exactly how much I can tell you about it, but I'll try to draw out the occasional storytelling moral where I'm not violating any confidentiality clauses. But if you have general questions about developing series, I'll tell you what I know...

Dear Alex,
I have a great idea for a series, and I'm looking for someone to help me with the words.
Do you do that kind of work and how much does it cost.
By the way, my daughter is also an actress and I'd like her to be in it.
Denis - hee!
Alex - Without breaking any confidentiality clauses, is this the show you pitched at the Banff before the last Banff? I remember that idea, I thought it was really intriguing. Good to see it found a home.
Yep, that's the one!
Hey, CW, what's with your invitation-only blog?
Yeah, it’s not “invitation only” so much as “abandoned.” If I ever get back to it though, I promise to send you an invite. I'm thinking calligraphy on rice paper...
Hey Alex
Was just wondering is this anything to do with whats just broadcast in the states? Are you doing the next installment...(a la Prime Suspect?)
Nope. It's ma own thang. A contemporary urban metaphysical, in the spirit (I hope) of Neil Gaiman and The Joss.
A cross between Gaimen and Joss... cool... now that I will look forward to... good luck with it *S*
The Fallen? I think I caught part of that on the ABC Family. We're talking about Angel progeny with flaming swords, right? It was pretty good, way better than the typically ABC Family fare. Also, if anyone reading this can recommend a decent television writing class in NYC (I'm an advertising writer who wants to break in, if possible) could you please let me know at deadpanwalking@gmail.com? Thanks.
This is not the ABC Family thing, this is entirely different. No flaming swords. This is to the ABC "Fallen" as DEXTER is to HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER.
