Our loft is in
Apartment Therapy.
I'm very proud of Lisa, who has done an amazing job of turning our loft into an Old Hollywood Craftsman bungalow.
Now if we could just figure out where to put the palm tree and the barbecue.

Creepy seeing two of my favorite blogs mash into each other - like George's worlds colliding on "Seinfeld".
What a home, Alex! The more I learn about it, the more Montreal feels like N. America's secret Fabergé egg. Absolutely beautiful.
Did you make the chain maille yourself Alex?
All right for some, eh Alex? Looking good though, wish i lived there. Top job!
Montreal is great, vastly superior to Toronto.
You missed an opportunity to promote you and your wife's writing. You could have had your books on the night stand, kitchen table, in the library, etc. Shameless, but someone's got to do it.
Gorgeous and congrats! Can I ask how you did your bookshelves? We just bought a place and have a foyer area where we want to put something that looks like a built-in but costs a lot less. I like the look of yours a lot.
Our bookshelves are from Home Depot! And we had a carpenter connect them to build a sturdy open-topped room for Jesse Anne.
Leannet3: no, the chainmail's from an outdoor shop in Prague!
