I've been listening to the amazing Ron Moore BATTLESTAR GALACTICA podcasts. And I've checked out some of the Creative Screenwriting podcasts. What else should I listen to while I'm walking the dog?

Just in general or screenwriting/industry related?

I mean, just in general, I feel amiss not recommending Podcastle, Pseudopod, and Escape Pod if you like some genre short fiction on a morning walk. Because they're fairly consistently awesome.

As for screenwriting, the only thing that comes off the top of my head is I Should Be Writing, which is about writing and staying disciplined, etc. Mostly directed towards comic and prose, though.

Oh, and This American Life. Because, you know, This American Life. It's equally awesome.

Not screenwriting related but this guy Richard Fidler has a very nice easy interviewing style where it is just like the name of his show, the Conversation Hour.

He sits and chats with his guest who vary from nuns to camel ladies to resistance fighters, sportsmen and women to scientist, writers, film-makers, etc. Below are some links for you.

I used to rip DVD commentaries to mp3 to listen while walking the dog. It's often helpful NOT to be distracted by the picture.

Lots of my favs here already

"Radiolab" (http://www.wnyc.org/shows/radiolab/) Best science show on radio and many story-inspiring segments.

"The Moth" (www.themoth.org/)
True tales told live on stage.
Find the one told by the firefighter. Amazing.

(also, i do a cbc podcast myself if you like film reviews...it's a long way from Radiolab but it's a start. "Glasner on Film" @ iTunes.)
