I'm having sync problems with some videos I've put on Vimeo for private distribution. Has anyone else had this problem? Anyone know a better site? (I don't think you can upload stuff to YouTube but restrict its availability.)

dont know any more than that.good luck!
Vimeo is pretty legit. It could be a couple things messing up the sync. Feel free to email me at scott at scott-gold.com and I can help. It's the least I can do seeing how much I've learned from your blog.
Thanks so much, Sean. You can put private vids on YT, but viewers have to be signed into their YT account. Scott, I'm taking you up on your very kind offer.
Alex,
You can also have videos on Youtube that are not technically private, but the person needs the link to get to it. That's probably the option you're looking for. There's no way to access the video without the link.
Oh, and you don't have to be signed in to view the video, either.
Hey Alex,
We have designed a service for video pros to privately share videos and collaborate on them during production.
We have a top notch encoding system and can work with you to make sure there aren't any sync issues. We also have a commenting system where users can attach time codes to comments on project videos, so that feedback is precisely captured in one place.
Let me know if you are interested in testing and we can set you up with a trial account. Would love to hear your feedback.
Cheers,
