You Are So Undead opened the Dead by Dawn festival in Edinburgh.. TV Bomb enjoyed it:

Your short "You Are so Undead" will be airing on an upcoming episode of Bravo!FACT's new show, In Short at 10:00 pm ET/7:00 pm PT, Wednesday 11 May 2011 on Bravo!

Launching in early May 2011, In Short will air eight new one-hour specials featuring Canadian short films over eight consecutive weeks. The shorts have all been produced with funds awarded by Bell Media's Bravo!FACT (Foundation to Assist Canadian Talent).

Each episode is based on one of the seven deadly sins and their accompanying virtues: pride/humility, envy/kindness, lust/chastity, greed/charity, wrath/patience, sloth/diligence and gluttony/temperance. Renowned film critic Richard Crouse) hosts all eight In Short episodes. The shorts will also be available for viewing on www.bravofact.com.

Your short "You Are so Undead" will be airing in full in episode #2, about Envy and Kindness, and will be posted in full on the web.

You Are So Undead at Just for Laughs

Just got word that YASU's been selected to screen at Just for Laughs Chicago:

Your film has been selected to screen as part of the Best of Just For Laughs Shorts Program #2 on Friday, June 17 at 6:00 pm. The screening will be presented as part of TWIX PRESENTS: TBS JUST FOR LAUGHS CHICAGO from June 14-18, 2011, at Gene Siskel Film Center of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Which set us a-Googling, and we discovered that we also screened at the Night of Horrors in Sydney, Australia, in April, in Dawson City last Friday, and will be screening Thursday, May 5, at Dead by Dawn in Edinburgh. Who knew?

Nice YASU review

On I Like Horror Movies:

Being bitten by a vampire has become the next big thing, and all of the kids are doing it! Mary finally lets a boy go all the way, but her mom is going to kill her when she finds those puncture marks on her neck! YOU ARE SO UNDEAD is a breath of fresh air in a genre that has been beaten to undeath. The sharp wit and clever metaphors found in Lisa Hunter's script equates sex and vampirism in the same way that GINGER SNAPS linked puberty with werewolves. Meaghan Rath and Erin Agostino are each fantastic, and play right into the brilliant humor. The short wraps up with a perfectly timed twist in the end. Hopefully this isn't the last we hear from newcomers Lisa Hunter and Alex Epstein, as YOU ARE SO UNDEAD is sure to become a huge sensation with Horror fans!

Rating: 9/10.

I was kinda jazzed to learn this morning that YOU ARE SO UNDEAD is also screening at Hallowscreen in Sarasota on Hallowe'en. That's five festivals we're screening at, and so far only one has rejected us. (NYFF. Snobs.)
