I think DMc should send this in to Playback as a guest editorial. Seriously.
Now I have a completely absurd idea: Say, just say, for just a minute, that Canadian television got no public funding (only a another few seconds. You can do it). Are there really no wealthy investors in this country who might be interested in actually trying to make money off of television? And if there were, wouldn't they be a lot more motivated to actually do it right? [/absurd notion]
