Kody Chamberlain notes that Pages 2.0 has a screenplay template. Pages is part of Apple's iWorks, which is Apple's answer to
Evil Microsoft Office:
The cool thing about Pages is it comes free [ED NOTE: demo is free, $79 to keep it working] on the usual consumer model Apple machines like the iMac and the MacBooks. And having used Pages quite a bit with their other templates, I'd say that there's a pretty good chance that the screenplay template will be worth using for those that can't fork over the cash for Final Draft.
You can find out more
on the Apple site.

It is somewhat misleading on his part to state that iWork comes free on consumer Macs. They come with a trial version; you must still pay $79 for the real thing.
Sorry gang, that was my mistake. When we got our iBook, version 1 of Pages did come free with that system. I didn't know they started charging for it on the new systems.
My apologies on the "Free" remark.
Hey, just as a mention. There's a fantastic script program called Celtx.
It's free, and is built for sharing your scripts and ideas over a network.
I have to agree with mikaela, celtx is a great program for people who are just trying to save money.
