Our 11-year-old son is trying to get us to let him watch HBO by promising that he does not copy whatever we watch on TV.

Which is a relief.

'Cause we're watching DEXTER.

He's still not going to get to watch it.

We're not even sure we're old enough to watch it...

When I was a kid my parents let me watch only Twin Peaks and the news. Nothing else. Not Fraggle Rock or the Muppets. Twin Peaks.

I have no idea what kind of effect that had on me but I am kind of neurotic so you'd better play it safe.

You could probably let him watch Emtourage, though. Unless it makes him grow up to be an agent.

Now that you mention it, our kid is probably in grave danger of becoming an agent. He lost a tooth this week and tried to negotiate a higher Tooth Fairy payment for it.
