For an entirely reasonable price (though I'm sure it will go up from $850), you can have
tea with Neil Gaiman. It's in a good cause, so go wild.

What an awesome oppurtunity this would be, especially for an aspiring screenwriting. I wish I had teh extra cash to bid on it. There are so many great opportunities available for screenwriters and with just a little web surfing, they are easy to find. When trying to perfect a screenplay (if that's even possible) it's invaluable to have feedback on your script instead of just working in a vacuum. For those just starting out, that can be a tough thing to find. There are some film schools that offer such services. One that I found is Film Connection, www.film-connection.com . They offer one on one mentoring and their coure is available all over the US and Canada.
I did it.
Thanks for the heads up.
Anything in particular I should ask?
(I'd write more but, you know-...Neil Gaiman.)
You're not nimrod3277, are you?
It went for $3050.
Yeah, actually.
I'm splitting it with a friend and not going on any vacations or buying, you know, anything, for a year. Or two.
You are totally hard core!
Thing I want to know is, who is the God who everyone forgets just after meeting him, in AMERICAN GODS. Neil was going to answer that on his website, but then someone asked him not to post about it, so he didn't!
Actually I think I'm going to blog the rest of this remark.
