I'm taping a slew of CBC drive time shows this morning, talking about the state of showbiz during the recession.

I'll be on in Corner Brook, Ottawa, Yellowknife, Victoria, Labrador City, Calgary, Kelowna and Quebec City.

By the time we get to Quebec City, I should sound like I know what I'm talking about.

Are you sure those times are right, Alex? Because Labrador City and Corner Brook are both the same time zone (Newfoundland time).

If I miss it tomorrow, will there be anywhere to catch it again?

Them's what the CBC producer emailed me! I seem to bounce around the country. Looks pretty early for the West Coast, if you ask me.

Hey Alex, those are your times, like, EST. The way it works for the out-west shows is that you might not necessarily be live. Sometimes they pretape a few of those interviews before they actually go on the air so that they can fly you in to the broadcast when they need you to.

Welcome to Canada, land of the 5 time zones.

The EST times are probably live.
