WHY THEY'RE ALMOST BEING CANADIAN!
Today's Times objects that American Idol is humiliatingly rude to its contestants, and wants it to stop holding people up to ridicule for being less talented than they think they are... good for The Times.

It's already a sign that the Apocalypse is upon us when we have Paula Abdul judging anybody's vocal abilities. (Yeah, she can dance, but...) Performers who talk (rather than sing) on their own overproduced records should be nicer to people who actually aspire to carry a tune.
