While stumbling around the intertubes, I came across this site via Lifehacker.com: 10 Universities offering free writing courses and it looks fairly comprehensive. More specifically, they list Steve Barnes' free UCLA writing course as well and it looks like a great resource for spec-monkeys to study.Thanks, Jason!

Wikiversity? I'll bet a degree from there is about as prestigious as one from the University of Phoenix, where Shaquille O'Neal got an MBA, and a free car wax.
Maybe he taught before my time at UCLA, but I've never heard of this guy.
