Style Sheet?

Q. Your website no longer has available the Word style sheet you mentioned in your book. Is it no longer available?
It's been superseded. There are free screenplay formatting programs around, like MindStar's Script Editor and Celtx and Scripped and Zhura. Check'em out.

I gave my students the option for their assignments. They are aware of Celtx & Zhura. 80% still decided to use Word.

Most of them agreed however that the latest version of Word may have the features, it is not as user-friendly.

As an editor, I often import scripts into Word (2003 version) or Open Office because the editing features are a lot more powerful.

The BBC Writer's Room also offers free script software.

I've used Simply Screenplay before and found it pretty decent. Not sure whether it works with Word 2007.
