This is apropos of nothing, but do Canadian writers have managers who help them find work? A lot of U.S. writers have them, so you're paying an agent 10 percent and a manager 15 percent. Is this practice common in Canada and, if so, are there any Canadian management companies with good reputations?

Nobody I know here makes enough money to justify a manager...
