Game Pitch?

What exactly does a game pitch look like when someone's bringing a game idea to a company? Does anyone have one I could look at?

The only one I've read was the one for Planescape: Torment. It was adorable.

I assume you understand that it's the developers pitching the gameplay to publishers, not writers pitching story to developers? Sorry, of course you do.

    Here's Bioshock's - http://irrationalgames.com/insider/from-the-vault-may/

I imagine they all vary wildly in style.

  3. Honestly, a developer hearing a pitch from an external source is something that hardly ever happens. Most pitching is a developer pitching to a publisher.

He created the Prince of Persia franchise.

Echoing what Erik said. You'd probably be better off starting your own small development co that makes Facebook-type games/apps and generating enough interest in sales that larger developers and publishers come to you.

Although, you do have several books out on screenwriting and a track record, so you might have a little better traction directly approaching them than others.

Very interested to see how this all pans out, so keep us informed!
