Everytime I go to the Chesterfield site it's never updated. It's kind of confusing too. There is no application to download when they make reference to doing just that. There's a FAQ that mentions a $39.50 entrance fee but doesn't mention it anywhere else, not even in the Application Process section.
Kind of strange that this revered fellowship doesn't clarify anything...
I've been on Zoetrope for a few weeks and am growing tired of the whine. Too many people complaining that Hollywood is creatively bankrupt and that the average filmgoer is stupid (this is the reason their genius scripts don't sell).
I've had good feedback (50%) on my material, but I am seriously considering dropping out. Who needs the angst? I'd rather write than play politics trying to get someone else to review my scripts.

I have never entered any contests, but I do write for scr(i)pt magazine, and can tell you that I've never had anything but the best experiences working for/with them. For what that's worth (I know it has little to do with the contest specifically, but it does speak to the character of those involved).
the last I heard Project Greenlight is over, that was the last year they are doing it...executive producer Chris Moore posted on his blog that it is all over but the crying now, Bravo pulled the plug and I think Moore and Affleck even parted ways in their production company now (can anyone verify this?)
Thanks for sharing these! I notice that the WGA Writer's Training Program is through the WGA East. Is there also an equivalent for the WGA West? Or does it matter? (I'm still not clear on the nuances of the East/West division of the Guild.)
