Q. I have been working on my second novel for a while, but lately I got the hankering to turn it into a screenplay, simply because I feel it has a great message about faith, hope and salvation, through deep despair and global destruction. I began working on a beat sheet as you call it in your book for the screenplay, but I was wondering, do I need to double-space the beat sheet or does that matter?I just go with the default spacing which is a little more than single spacing. But a beat sheet is primarily for you. It is very hard for someone else to read and make sense of your beat sheet; few can do it. So producers don't buy beat sheets. They buy scripts.
