The president is calling on Americans to reduce their nonessential driving.

I'd like to clarify that a bit. Can we all agree that no one needs to drive a Hummer? Anywhere in the US? Ever?

Besides, we women already know that civilian men who drive Hummers have, um, er.. "size" issues... The military boys have an excuse, it's the only "jeep" like thing they got. Of course, THOSE Hummers should be restricted to "duty use" only!

Seriously, everyone's complaining about the price of gas - that it could go up to four dollars a gallon. Gee, that's only two dollars less than what Europe has been paying...

can I just say that I just got back from a trip to the cottage in a rented Prius Hybrid...3 hours up, 3 hours back. Total cost in gas @ 1.05 a LITRE?

...15 dollars.


It was AWESOME.
